2024 Summer Workshops and Camps
Ballet Stories Dance Camp
Dancers will learn various famous ballet stories and characters while they practice ballet technique and learn choreography to perform at the end of the week. Dancers will also participate in fun movement games/activities, create a craft and enjoy a healthy snack each day.
When: TWO CAMPS OFFERED
CAMP 1: Monday-Thursday, June 17-20, 2024 – 9:00-11:00am
Showcase on Thursday, June 20th at 10:30am.

Age Groups offered:
Age 4-7 (Pre-Dance 1, Pre-Dance 2, Level 1)
No previous dance experience required.
CAMP 2: Monday-Thursday, July 29-Aug 1, 2024 – 9:00-11:00am
Showcase on Thursday, Aug 1st at 10:30am

Age 4-7 (Pre-Dance 1, Pre-Dance 2, Level 1)
No previous dance experience required.
Cost: $100 per dancer for either camp

Musical Theater Dance Camp
Have fun while learning how to tell a story through dance! This camp will focus on musicality, choreography, using props, and facial expressions. Kids will learn dance combinations to music from Annie, Newsies, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and Mary Poppins. On the last day, campers will be able to put on a fun show for friends and family!
When: Monday-Thursday, June 17-20, 2024; 11:00am-1:00pm
“On Broadway” showcase on Thursday, June 20th at 12:30pm

Circus Camp
Dancers will work within the Acro, Ballet, and Jazz styles, learning tricks, and practicing strength, flexibility, and conditioning. Dancers will participate in daily classes and activities, have a healthy snack, and help put together an entertaining, exciting performance.
When: Monday-Wednesday, July 8-10, 2024 - 9:00-11:00 am
“TOPSHOW” Showcase on Wednesday at 10:30am
Age Groups Invited:
8-11 (Levels 2, 3, 4)
*At least 2 years of dance experience required
Cost: $90 per dancer
Raising the Barre Dance Intensive with Grace & Liv –
Dancers will train technically and explore artistically the genres of ballet, contemporary, jazz and improv during this 3-day camp. Grace Lennon and Liv Young are both Dance Lab alumni who are currently dancing professionally with St.Paul-based Ballet Co. Laboratory.
When: Monday-Wednesday, June 24-26, 2024; 10:00am-2:30pm (dancers will get a 30 minute lunch break each day)
Showcase on Wednesday, June 26th at the end of the day.
Age Groups Invited:
10-18 (Levels 3, 4, 5, 6, 7)
Enrolled dancers will be divided into groups based off of age and ability.
*At least 4 years of dance experience required
Cost: $150 per dancer

Turns/Leaps/Tricks Camp with Isabelle Meyer
Improve your favorite turns, leaps, jumps, and dance tricks with Isabelle during this 3-day camp in July. Dancers will warm up and focus on current and new skills alike, fine-tuning the important technical moves of jazz, contemporary, and ballet, and spend time exploring and experimenting with new, trending dance tricks and partnering.
When: Monday-Wednesday, July 8-10, 2024; 11:00am-1:00pm
Showcase on Wednesday, July 10th at 12:30pm.

12-18 (Levels 5, 6, 7)
*At least 4 years of dance experience required
