SCHOOL YEAR
Tuition for all school-year classes is based off of a 28-week curriculum, which runs from September 11th through May 12th and ends with the spring recital.
PAYMENTS
Tuition for the entire year is divided into 9 equal payments and will be posted to your account on the 15th of the prior month, with a due date of the 1st of the month, from September through May (September tuition is due upon registration), regardless of how many classes are held in a month. Upon enrollment, accounts default to Auto-pay, where payments will be automatically charged to the credit card on file on their due date. Manual payments can be made between the 15th and last day of each month and will default your account to “paid” for remainder of the month (please notify the studio via email if you would like to un-enroll from auto-pay).
2023-2024 Tuition Rates
Class Length - Base Class Price (price of 1st class before any additional discounts)
30-minute class - $35 per month
45-minute class - $44 per month
60-minute class - $54 per month
75-minute class - $64 per month
90-minute class - $74 per month
105-minute class - $80 per month
DISCOUNTED TUITION
After the longest class tuition is calculated in full, the 2nd longest class taken by the same dancer will be given a 5% discount, and 3rd class taken will be given a 10% discount, the 4th class as 12% discount, and increasing by 2% with each additional class after. Immediate family members of the first dancer will get an additional 5% off their monthly tuition total.
REFERRAL PROGRAM
If you refer another family to The Dance Lab for the 2022-2023 school year dance season, you will receive 5% off of your monthly tuition for the entire 2022-2023 school year dance season (providing the family registers for classes for the entire year). Each family is allowed one referral discount per season.
LATE PAYMENTS
A $20 late fee will be charged to your account on the 2nd if full tuition payment is not received by the 1st of any month. Late fees are NOT refundable for any reason. Any dancer with a remaining balance on their account for more than 60 days past due will be prohibited from attend class until the balance is paid. Dancers with a 30 day overdue balance as of May 1st will be prohibited from performing in the Spring Recital.
Drop-In’s and Adult Classes
All drop-in’s and adult classes are $15 per class and may be enrolled in one day at a time, or in several dates at a time.
REGISTRATION FEE
An annual, non-refundable fee of $40 ($80 per family) will be charged to your account upon registration, which is due before the first day of classes in September.
COSTUME FEES
Costume fees tend to run anywhere from $75-$120 per class. These costume fees are posted to accounts in early November, with a due date of December 1st, 2023. Further costume information will be released in October.
Payment Methods
Payments may be made online through the Parent Portal via credit card. Monthly auto-pay or manual payment options are available. Payments may also be made in person at the studio via cash, check or Venmo.
